Today, the first meeting of the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) between the EU Committee of the Regions and the Delegation of Local and Regional Government to Albania took place.

This meeting marks an important step towards strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and assessing the impact of EU policies at local level, including local and regional perspectives in the European integration process.

The National Association of Municipalities of Albania (NAMA) has played an essential role as a coordinator of its members in this process, ensuring a worthy and structured representation of Albanian municipalities in the JCC.

The Albanian delegation of municipalities in the JCC is represented by: Mr. Gledian Llatja; Mr. Fisnik Qosja; Ms. Emiriana Sako; Mr. Albert Melyshi; Ms. Eriselda Sefa; Mr. Flamur Golemi and alternate members Mr. Erion Isai; Ms. Festime Mjeshtri; Ms. Alma Hoxha; Mr. @HillCurri and Mr. Albert Malaj

This forum aims to:

Assess the impact of EU policies on the territory,

Promoting direct dialogue on political developments in the EU,

Active involvement of Albanian municipalities in European local government networks.
