The closing conference of the EU4ET project – Covenant of Mayors for the Western Balkans and Türkiye marked an important moment for regional efforts towards a green and sustainable future.

Albania was worthily represented at this event by:

Ms. Majlinda Bufi, Mayor of Roskovec, who shared her city’s concrete experience in implementing climate projects with tangible impact on the community. She spoke during the session “Cities in Action: Real Projects, Real Impacts”, highlighting practical examples of municipal actions on the ground.

Ms. Adelina Farrici, Executive Director of the National Association of Municipalities of Albania (#SHKBSH), who contributed to the discussion “Stronger Together: Aligning Local and National Efforts”, highlighting the role of Albanian municipalities and the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in meeting climate objectives.

This forum served as a platform for sharing experiences, strengthening partnerships and promoting concrete actions for sustainable energy and climate at the local level.
