Today we held the General Assembly of the National Association of Municipalities of Albania, the main annual activity of the association in accordance with its statute.

In this context, the Draft-Strategy 2026–2030 was presented, which defines the new priorities of municipalities with a focus on innovation, sustainable development, community inclusion and European integration

Also, the Migration Forum was launched, as a new platform for cooperation between municipalities to address the challenges and opportunities it brings.

The Assembly approved the financial statements and elected new management structures, guaranteeing transparency and sustainable functioning.

This meeting marks an important step towards strengthening the capacities of municipalities and creating new instruments for local development and representing the interests of citizens of every local self-government unit in the country.

We thank all members of the Association, the mayors of the country, for their participation and valuable contribution not only in the Annual Assembly, but throughout the entire annual activity of the Association.
