MEETING OF THE PRE-UNIVERSITY EDUCATION FORUM
“Building Sustainable Models in Pre-School Education: Consolidating Instruments for the Implementation of Measures and Capitalizing on Municipal Practices”
Today, the #NationalAssociation of Municipalities of Albania held the first day of the Pre-University Education Forum workshop, focused on validating 11 measures for the improvement of preschool education.
The meeting brought together representatives of the Ministry of Education and Sports, municipalities, education experts and partners of the “Strong Municipalities” project, who shared experiences, challenges and ideas for further improving these measures, with the aim of building a more qualitative and comprehensive service system.
Today’s discussions served to validate and improve the main education measures in the municipality, as well as to provide recommendations with the aim of improving the service!
Tomorrow, on the second day of the forum, the best practices of municipalities (case studies) that are contributing to the construction of sustainable models in preschool education will be presented.

Strong Municipalities is a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (Embassy of Switzerland in Albania, Swiss Development & Cooperation) and the Government of Sweden (Embassy of Sweden in Tirana) implemented by Helvetas. The project has as its main goal that Albanian citizens benefit from the improvement of governance and services at the local level according to the minimum and affordable standards approved for a sustainable system in the country.
