Meeting for the National Survey on Preschool Education 2025

Last week, in collaboration with the Strong Municipalities project, SHKBSH organized the meeting with the Inter-institutional Working Group within the framework of the National Survey on Preschool Education in Albania for the year 2025.

The National Survey 2025 represents a key instrument for measuring the fulfillment of national standards in all municipalities of the country.

The role of the National Association of Municipalities of Albania (SHKBSH) in this process is leading, with the aim of guaranteeing:

inter-institutional coordination and systematic use of data for monitoring and planning;

orientation and support of municipalities in the implementation of decentralized functions;

strengthening capacities and improving local performance;

promoting territorial equality in the provision of preschool services.

The purpose of the meeting was to agree on the institutional and methodological approach for the implementation of the 2025 Survey, as well as to define common steps for the preparation of the national report on local performance in the field of preschool education.

The data and findings of the survey will serve as a basis for measuring progress in the implementation of the Decentralization Strategy and its Action Plan, while also contributing to discussions on legal and normative improvements and the consolidation of decentralized functions.
