Today, in collaboration with the Local Finance project and with the participation of the leaders of the Ministry of Finance, the #NationalAssociation of Municipalities of Albania organized the first technical focus group with representatives of the Municipality of Tirana to discuss the “Draft Manual for Forecasting Own Revenues of Local Self-Government Units.”
This document aims to support municipalities in more effective revenue forecasting, as well as to improve the local financial planning process, through capacity building and data-based decision-making.
Today’s discussions, with the contribution of representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the project and municipal experts, will help in the preparation of a useful instrument for all municipalities in the country.
