#NationalAssociationofMunicipalitiesofAlbania participated in the two-day training for the launch of the new regional project SPARK, organized by @NALAS with the support of @Giz.
On 22–23 October 2025, representatives of the National Association of Municipalities of Albania participated in the Kick-off Meeting of the new SPARK project, together with partners from the countries of the region.
The SPARK project aims to strengthen cooperation between associations of municipalities in the region and support sustainable local development through innovation, inclusion and exchange of best practices.
During the meeting,
the context and objectives of the project,
the implementation method and division of responsibilities between partners,
the national and regional work packages,
as well as the next steps for the implementation of the activities were presented.
The meeting was characterized by close cooperation, new ideas and positive energy, marking the beginning of an important process for strengthening the role of local government at the regional level.
