#Today, the National Association of Municipalities of Albania (NAMA) participated in the first Meeting of the @NALAS Thematic Expert Group on Climate Resilience and Urban Mobility, organized within the framework of the project “Green Agenda – Supporting the Western Balkans in Adaptation to Climate Change”, funded by BMZ, and held in Zagreb, at the premises of the Association of Cities of the Republic of Croatia.
The meeting marked the official start of the work of this regional expert group, bringing together representatives from local government associations of South-Eastern Europe to coordinate efforts towards strengthening local policies for climate resilience and green urban mobility.
The discussions focused on the exchange of experiences, the identification of common priorities and opportunities for advocacy at the regional level, in function of sustainable local policies.
By joining this regional initiative, NAMA reaffirms its commitment to supporting Albanian municipalities in developing innovative and sustainable solutions that contribute to the implementation of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.
