We started the year with a friendly and sincere conversation with the Ambassador of Sweden, Mr. Niklas Ström, on the importance of local government in our journey towards European integration.
During the meeting, the Executive Director of SHKBSH, Ms. Adelina Farrici, emphasized that the Association supports municipalities in strengthening institutional capacities, increasing transparency and improving local government, with a focus on citizens and democratic standards.
We thank the Ambassador and the Swedish Government for their continued support in improving local democracy, strengthening local government and integrating the country.
