Cyber ​​Security in Municipalities – An Obligation, An Opportunity!
Today in Vlora we joined leaders of municipalities across the country at the Regional Forum to discuss protecting our local institutions from cyber threats.
This forum, organized by the National Association of Municipalities of Albania (NAMA) in collaboration with the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) and the National Cyber ​​Security Authority (AKSK), and supported by UK International Development, aims to increase security standards in every local government unit.
During the meeting, key points were discussed such as:
Legal obligations arising from the new law on Cyber ​​Security
Raising standards and assessing risk, taking the experience of the Municipality of Vlora as a model
Simulations of real-life cyber incident situations to test our institutional response
