On the occasion of the launch of the Swiss Cooperation Programme in Albania 2026–2028, we express our deep gratitude for the continuous support of the Swiss Government to local governance in Albania.
The partnership with the Embassy of Switzerland and through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) Swiss Development & Cooperation has been a strong pillar in:
strengthening local autonomy
increasing the capacities of municipalities
improving services for citizens
strengthening the role of the National Association of Municipalities of Albania (#SHKBSH)
This sustainable cooperation has directly impacted the consolidation of institutional dialogue, the construction of evidence-based policies and the advancement of reforms at the local level.
