📍 The National Association of Municipalities of Albania (NAMA), within the framework of the project “Empowering Municipalities for Transparent Grants for CSOs”, supported by UNDP Albania within the framework of the ReLOaD3 Program, funded by the European Union, held in Gjirokastër the first day of training dedicated to the staff of the municipalities of Gjirokastër and Tepelena.
🔍 The main topics covered on the first day of the training included the practical aspects of:
✔️ Managing grant schemes for CSOs with transparency and accountability
✔️ Monitoring and evaluating projects through SMART indicators
✔️ Implementing the Local Democracy (LD) methodology
✔️ Civic engagement and developing consultative processes
🤝 Through group work, the participants applied the knowledge gained in practice, strengthening the role of municipalities in building sustainable partnerships with civil society.
