🤝🇪🇺 The regional launch of the “EU4Municipalities II” program took place in #Korça, where #SHKBSH participated as a partner in this important initiative to strengthen local governance and advance the European integration process at the local level.
📍The activity was organized under the patronage of the Mayor of Korça, Mr. Sotiraq Filo, with the participation of representatives of municipalities, central institutions, the Delegation of the European Union and international partners.
💶 During the activity, the achievements of Phase I of the project were presented, as well as the components and grant scheme of Phase II for the support of Albanian municipalities.
🎙️ In the discussion panel, the Mayors of the Municipalities Ms. @Alma Hoxha, Mr. Erion Isaidhe Mr. @Sotiraq Filo, together with the Executive Director of SHKBSH, Ms. Adelina Farrici, discussed:
✅ Support for local development and European integration
✅ Cooperation between Albanian municipalities
✅ Challenges and priorities of local governance
✅ The importance of direct grants and strengthening the capacities of municipalities
🤝 The EU4Municipalities project is funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Albania and BMZ, and implemented by GIZ Albania in partnership with SHKBSH, NALAS and KDZ.
