Born in Berat, in 1982.

He pursued his Bachelor and Master studies in the United Kingdom. He pursued his post-doctoral studies at the University of Bologna.

Ervin Demo has a long career in higher education institutions in our country. Since 2004, he has been a full-time lecturer at the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana. He then held various leadership positions at the University of Tirana, where During the years 2012-2016 he was Vice Rector of the University of Tirana. In 2017 he was appointed Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, a position he held until the end of 2018.

Also because of the positions he has held, Mr. Demo has always been a promoter and supporter of young people in issues related to higher education, and in initiatives related to Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

On June 30, 2019, he was elected mayor of Berat.
