Artur Bushi has been the mayor of Krujë Municipality since August 2015. He was born in Thumanë on January 17, 1975, into a family with traditions and values ​​full of community values. After finishing high school at the “Arif Ali Sula” Gymnasium in Mamurras, where he stood out as a distinguished and ambitious student, he took the path of emigration like many Albanians in search of better living opportunities. After a few years, he returned to Albania, dedicating himself to university studies, where he graduated in History at the University of Tirana. He is also an excellent connoisseur of Italian and English.

With his political commitments, part of the Socialist Party ran in the municipality of Thumana in 2011, achieving a historic victory in an area where the left had not managed to win. The enthusiasm of the victory made him fulfill every expectation that the residents of Thumana had towards a resident who came from a family with traditions, education and a Western culture. For the first time in this municipality, investments in rural roads are recognized and what constitutes innovation is the cleaning of waste for the first time in a rural area.

The management skills and the appreciation of the residents of the Thumane commune, made a stir in the public opinion and Mr. Bushi was entrusted with the candidacy for deputy in the 2013 elections by the leader of the Socialist Party Mr. Edi Rama, where he again achieved a victory in the Kruja District. Being part of the Parliament as a deputy where he will be a strong voice in the Committee on Production Activities. During his work as a deputy, the Kruja district will know a series of important investments such as: “Shote Galica” High School, “Ramazan Karaj” High School, School No. 4 Kruja, Revitalization of the Krastës-Kruja Crown, the entrance road to Fushë-Kruja, Street lighting, Facades of buildings in Fushë Kruja etjer.

In the 2015 local elections, with the new administrative division, for the third time the candidacy was entrusted to Artur Bush, who achieved an important victory in the Municipality of Krujë. Since August 2015, he has been the first citizen of the city who is turning the Municipality of Krujë, day by day, into an open institution, transparent in decision-making and with an investment plan in a territory that carries many problems, a challenge that for Artur Bush is feasible thanks to the will, vision and accountability to the residents who for the third time showed that they are on his side.
