The National Association of Municipalities of Albania (NAMA), within the framework of the Regional Capacity Development Network (RCDN) for Water and Sanitation Services, invites qualified experts from the RCDN Pool of Trainers (PoT) to apply for the position of Expert for Developing NAMA’s Fundraising Strategy & New Membership Model.
The RCDN project aims to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of Associations of Public Utilities (APUCs) and Local Government Associations (LGAs) in the Western Balkans, contributing to improved delivery of safe and equitable water and sanitation services in line with international standards. The project is jointly financed by SECO and BMZ, and administratively embedded in the GIZ Project “Open Regional Fund for Southeast Europe – Modernisation of Municipal Services (ORF MMS)”.
The engaged expert will:
- Assess the Current Situation – Review funding sources, membership base, and benchmark best practices.
- Set Objectives – Define goals for fundraising (diversification, sustainability) and membership (growth, engagement).
- Consult Stakeholders – Gather input from staff, members, partners, and donors.
- Design Membership Model – Define membership categories, fees, benefits, and engagement strategies.
- Develop Fundraising Strategy – Identify funding sources, prioritize approaches, and create communication tools.
