Position: Project Coordinator (Full-time)
Project: Strengthening the National Association of Municipalities of Albania (NAMA)
Duration: 15 January – 15 September 2026 (9 months)
Location: Tirana, Albania
The National Association of Municipalities of Albania (NAMA) is seeking to recruit a full-time Project Coordinator to support the implementation of the project “Strengthening the National Association of Municipalities of Albania (NAMA)”, implemented within the framework of the “One Voice of LGAs in Albania – Phase II” project, financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by NALAS.
The Project Coordinator will support day-to-day coordination, implementation, monitoring and reporting of project activities, working closely with the Project Manager, NAMA staff, municipalities, NALAS, SDC and other partners.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and support implementation of project activities
– Support the operationalization of NAMA thematic forums
– Liaise with municipalities, partners and donors
– Support organization of meetings, workshops and events
– Contribute to monitoring, reporting and documentation
Required Qualifications:
– University degree in a relevant field
– Minimum 5–7 years of relevant professional experience
– Experience in local governance, decentralization or donor-funded projects
– Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
