The National Association of Municipalities of Albania (#SHKBSH), within the framework of the project “EU4 Energy Transition: Covenant of Mayors in the Western Balkans and Turkey” (#EU4ET) and with the support of GIZ Albania, organized today an important meeting on “Multi-Level Governance and the Absorption of EU Funds in the Field of Energy & Climate”.
This meeting brought together the central government, municipalities and experts to discuss:
The Development and Implementation of Energy and Climate Action Plans (#SECAP);
The Benefit of EU Funding for Sustainable Projects;
The Importance of Cooperation between Different Levels of Government (#MLG);
Case studies and best practices from municipalities in the country.
This meeting is an important step to strengthen the capacities of #LGUs and to foster cooperation and innovation in local energy and climate policies!
