Steering committee
The Governing Council, which consists of 15 members, ensures representation, according to population, geographical diversity, political forces engaged in local government, and directs the activities of the association during the period between two general assemblies.
The Association’s Presidency
The association’s presidency leads the General Assembly. It consists of:

Association’s Administration
The Executive Director has the powers to direct the activity for the implementation of the daily tasks of the association, drafts the plan of activities of the association, reports to the association’s bodies on the activities carried out, prepares and attends the meetings of the Steering Council and Forums.

The executive staff directs the decisions of the association’s bodies.
The National Association of Municipalities of Albania has in its composition the creation of forums for various topics related to the main issues of local government. The Permanent Forums meet to discuss and suggest solutions to issues according to the defined areas.
