The Head of the National Association of Municipalities of Albania, Ms. Adelina Farrici, participated in the two-day meeting on the topic “Decentralization and EU policies for good governance in South-Eastern Europe” organized by NALAS and CEMR in Brussels.

In addition to the best examples of the region, this meeting discussed the progress of territorial reform in our country, as well as the possibility of implementing European Union policies for better governance at the local level.

The meeting ended with the drafting of the “Europe 25” draft document, on which ideas and suggestions for the best comprehensive policies and strategies were put forward. This document aims to stimulate the joint reflection of local governments on the European future with a timeframe of fifteen years.
