As part of the “From Twinning to Transforming” project—organized by the UNDP and NALAS—representatives from the Municipalities of Lezhë and Kamëz, acting on behalf of the Association of Local Government Units of Albania (SHKBSH), participated in a study visit to the city of Ohrid. During their visit to the Municipality of Ohrid and its Youth Center, the participants had the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into how young people are involved in community life, collaborate with local institutions, and engage in developing their own ideas and initiatives. Together with representatives from various Western Balkan countries, they exchanged experiences, ideas, and best practices, and discussed ways to create more opportunities and spaces for young people within our own communities. 🤝 For the Association and local government authorities, these meetings represent a valuable opportunity to learn from the experiences and successful models of our counterparts, with the aim of strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and introducing new ideas tailored to our local context. 🌱
