Festime Mjeshtri was born on 14.03.1973 in the village of Tërbaç, Ostren Administrative Unit. She completed her higher education, “Nursing” branch at Aleksandër Xhuvani University.

After completing her studies, she worked as a Promotion Specialist at the Local Health Care Unit, Bulqizë for about 10 years. During this period, Mjeshtri has completed many trainings in the field of health. She also worked as a part-time Teacher at the “Center for Vocational Training and Education” school, in the city of Bulqizë.

In 2022, she took office as Director of Bulqizë Hospital.

At the same time, Ms. Mjeshtri has held important positions such as: co-chair of the Socialist Party, Bulqizë branch, member of the National Assembly and delegate to the Socialist Congress.

From May 2023, Ms. Festime Mjeshtri is the mayor of Bulqiza Municipality.
