Valbona Kola was born on 09/06/1967 in the village of Patin, Klos Municipality. She completed her higher education, “Medicine” branch at the University of Tirana during the years 1985-1990.

After her studies, she was engaged at Burreli Hospital, “doctor in training” during the period 1990-1991. After the internship period, Kola was employed as a family doctor and Director of the Klos Health Center, during the years 2007-2011.

From 2011 to 2015, Kola practiced her profession as a family doctor at the Klos Health Center. She ran for mayor of Klos Municipality in 2015 with the trust of the Socialist Party. During the period 2015-2023, Ms. Valbona Kola has practiced the profession of “family doctor” and Director of the Klos Health Center.

Kola gained the trust of the citizens of Klos as a municipal councilor where she was also appointed chairwoman of the Klos Municipality Council during the period 2019-2023.

At the same time, Ms. Kola has held important positions such as; chairwoman of the Klos Socialist Party, member of the National Assembly, delegate to the PS Congress, chairwoman of the FGS Klos Municipality. Ms. Valbona Kola is married and is the mother of two children, boys.

From May 2023, Ms. Valbona Kola is the mayor of Klos Municipality.
