Father, husband, mayor of Shijak. Since August 2019, he has been elected mayor of Shijak. Focused every day on solving problems and providing the best services to citizens. Elton Arbana says: “Shijak is my big family.” Born on 25.12.1984 and raised in Shijak, he knows very well what needs to be done in the city. Although he studied in Turkey in 1999-2003, he returned to give his best for his city. Passionate about foreign languages, after learning Turkish, he also defended the Italian language, where he studied for two years (2003-2005). He then continued his four-year higher education (2006-2010), where he graduated as a lawyer.
He has been acquainted with the spirit of work since childhood, where having as a role model his father who worked long hours in the family business, he helped him as much as he could. This gave him the initiative to dare to have his own private business, which he started at the age of 19.
Always looking for new challenges and opportunities, for this reason in 2016 after being included in the ranks of the youth of the Socialist Party, he was elected as the chairman of the Shijak SP. This is a good opportunity for Elton Arbana to be one more voice in solving various problems in the political and social aspect.
During the period 2013-February 2017 he served as the director of IKMT Durrës. His figure is an example of a man with integrity, who pursues good and helps others as much as he can.
He dedicates his successful journey to his family, his wife Ema, his three daughters Elma, Ajra, Ambla and his son Priam.
He has currently managed to successfully face every challenge, starting from the earthquake, the pandemic and the floods. The motto of his work is the slogan: “Where there is a will, there is a solution”!
‘My strength comes from the desire and passion I have to serve everyone. Shijak is my city of the heart, I want the best for all its inhabitants, I want to see Shijak one day as it deserves to be, with a European transformation. That is why I am working hard, first by setting my own example.”
