We had the pleasure of meeting at the premises of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tirana, where we held an open and very fruitful conversation with a high-level delegation.

At this meeting, #SHKBSH was represented by the Vice President of the Association, Ms. Majlinda Shqalsi Cara, and the Executive Director, Ms. Adelina Farrici, who emphasized the importance of inter-institutional cooperation and the exchange of best practices in local governance.

We discussed opportunities for cooperation in key areas of local governance, including:

Application and absorption of EU funds

Urban sustainability and green development

Increasing institutional capacities and innovation in public services

The delegation consisted of regional and local representatives, mayors, former officials of the Ministry of the Interior and the Czech Police, as well as representatives of the national media.

The meeting strengthened the initiative for the exchange of experiences and concrete projects that bring tangible benefits to our communities.
