#ShKBSH, represented by the Executive Director Ms. Adelina Farrici, had the pleasure of participating in the Transport and Climate Change Week, organized by GIZ in Berlin. This event brought together representatives from different countries in Europe, Africa and Asia, creating an important platform for the exchange of experiences and ideas.
One of the main moments of the activity was the sharing of common practices and challenges between the delegations of the participating countries, with the aim of finding common solutions for the transition towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly transport. Albania was also represented by the Municipality of Elbasan, bringing the local perspective to this international dialogue.
The main issues discussed through trainings and interactive sessions included:
Rules and standards of urban mobility transition, including the use of eco-cars
Development of e-transport and e-buses, from policies to planning and implementation
Strategies for decarbonization and emission reduction
Methodologies for financing green transport projects
Participation in this week dedicated to transport and climate is a valuable opportunity for SHKBSH to bring new practices, knowledge and partnerships that contribute to the development of more sustainable policies for our cities.
