At the second regional meeting in Shkodra, in collaboration with the Local Finances project, the #NationalAssociation of Municipalities of Albania organized a technical focus group with representatives of Municipalities to discuss the “Draft Manual for Forecasting Own Revenues of Local Self-Government Units.”
This document aims to support municipalities in more effective revenue forecasting and improve the local financial planning process, through capacity building and data-based decision-making.
The meeting served as an important step towards the direct involvement of municipalities in the process of improving the manual, enabling the exchange of ideas, experiences and practical suggestions that will contribute to the drafting of a comprehensive and functional document for all local self-government units.
