Performance Grant – driving concrete results at the local level

The National Association of Municipalities of Albania, represented by the Executive Director Ms. Adelina Farrici, had the honor to participate in the panel discussion on the findings of the Municipal Performance Measurement System.

Together with the Minister of State for Local Government, Mr. Ervin Demo, the Director General of INSTAT, Ms. Elsa Dhuli, and the Head of @AMVV, the importance of transparency, accountability and continuous improvement of services for citizens was emphasized.

Ms. Farrici praised the role of the Performance Grant as a mechanism that is not limited to financial support, but serves as a standardizer of performance and a driver of a culture of results. It motivates municipalities to advance and rewards progress that generates real impact in the community.

“Meritocracy and transparency are the foundations on which the Performance Grant should continue to be strengthened — a fair, reliable and quality-oriented mechanism,” said Ms. Farrici.

The National Association of Municipalities remains committed to supporting municipalities towards more efficient, modern and citizen-friendly governance.
