Last week, the #NationalAssociationofMunicipalitiesofAlbania held the Closing Thematic Meetings of the WSS Forum, with a focus on identifying and approving priority issues for the advocacy plan, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between municipalities and water supply and sewerage companies.
📌 During the activity, participants:
✔ Reviewed existing recommendations and identified key issues for advocacy
✔ Discussed and improved the draft advocacy plan
✔ Officially approved the recommendations and action plan, defining concrete responsibilities and deadlines
✨ We were also pleased to have the Mayor of Bulqizë Municipality Official Website, Ms. Festime Mjeshtri, part of these meetings, who contributed her perspective and experience to the discussions.
📊 Among other things, the Municipal Needs Assessment document, carried out by #SHKBSH within the framework of the #RCDN project, was presented for the first time.
The WSS Forum continues to serve as an important platform for building a coordinated and sustainable approach in the water supply and sewerage sector, contributing to improving policies and practices at the local level.
