In collaboration with NALAS and the “Local Finance”/SECO project, we organized the Local Finance Forum meeting on the topic “Collection of own revenues through the tax agent”, at Tirana International Hotel 🏨.
The meeting opened with the welcoming speech of Ms. Adelina Farrici (Executive Director of SHKBSH), who emphasized the importance of strengthening the capacities of municipalities in collecting their own revenues and the need for close institutional cooperation in this regard 🤝
During the discussions, the findings of the Municipalities Survey on relations with the tax agent were presented 📊, and practices from the Municipality of Korça on revenue management through this model were shared. Subsequently, representatives of the municipalities engaged in working groups, where they discussed the main challenges and current practices in the implementation of this mechanism 🗂️.
In conclusion, a model contract was presented for the engagement of tax agents in the collection of their own income 📑.
