With the hospitality of the Mayor Mr. Ervin Ceca, Municipality of Berat and the participation of Ambassador Michel Tarran, Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Ms. Adelina Farrici, Executive Director of #SHKBSH, as well as representatives of the Municipality of Dibër Official Website, “Municipality of Lushnje” and Municipality of Memaliaj, the second visit was held within the framework of the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) initiative.
♻️ The Municipality of Berat presented the waste separation scheme at source — a successful pilot model that is serving as a concrete example for other municipalities. The participants visited the Recycling Center up close and watched a practical demonstration of waste separation in the Gorica museum district.
The visit created a valuable space for technical discussions, exchange of experiences and identification of concrete opportunities for replication of this model in the beneficiary municipalities.
SHKBSH supports and encourages such initiatives that strengthen cooperation between municipalities and bring sustainable solutions to local communities. 🤝
