The National Association of Municipalities of Albania participated yesterday in a hearing held by the Parliament of Albania’s Committee on Legal Affairs and Public Administration regarding the review in principle of the draft law on the administrative-territorial division of local government units. In this context, the Association shared its experience in supporting municipalities and highlighted the importance of taking into account the needs and specific characteristics of local units, while emphasizing the necessity of transparency and inclusive communication with all local stakeholders throughout the finalization of this process.
