Armando Subashi was born in Fier, on May 26, 1971. He completed his 8-year education at the “Andon Xoxa” school and his secondary education at the “Perikli Ikonomi” general secondary school.
He completed his higher studies at the Faculty of Law at the University of Tirana.
He worked as a judge in the judicial districts of Mallakastër and Fier, where he also exercised the function of President of the Court.
In the 2009 parliamentary elections, he was elected for the first time as a deputy of the Fier District, followed by a second mandate in 2013, a mandate which he left in 2015, when he announced his candidacy for Mayor of Fier.
During this time, he was a member of the Committee on Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights in the Albanian Parliament. He was a Member of the High Council of Justice, elected by the National Judicial Conference. As an experienced lawyer, he has had an impact, professional involvement in the treatment and improvement of the legal framework during the drafting process of law, no. 115, “On the administrative division of local government units in the Republic of Albania”.
Since July 22, 2015, he has successfully led the Municipality of Fier.
Armando Subashi is considered one of the most qualitative politicians and administrators in the country.
