Blerim Shera was born in Tirana on 09.03.1984
Mr. Shera completed his higher studies at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Social Sciences, in the field of Philosophy and Sociology. He has completed several specializations and holds the title of “Professional Master” in the profiles, “Psychologist in Institutions”, “Educational Management and Administration”. He then followed the cycle of doctoral studies at the University of Tirana.
His research focus has been mainly in the fields of social policies, serving from 2008-2022 as a psychosocial worker in several schools of the Municipality of Vora. He has attended many trainings, gaining experience mainly in cross-sectoral technical groups, in psychosocial treatment and child protection.
Blerim Shera is married and the father of a son. His family is very connected to the city of Vora, his parents were teachers with an important contribution to education and with high considerations in the community.
On March 6, 2022, Blerim Shera was elected Mayor of Vora Municipality.
