Today, the Director of the National Association of Municipalities, Ms. Adelina Farrici, hosted at the premises of the Association the experts of the ‘European Union for Good Governance’ project #eu4goodgovernance, a project funded by the EU and in collaboration with #AMVV.
The discussion focused on improving the Public Consultation process of municipalities and the role of the ICS in this process, emphasizing the need for a more sustainable, transparent and efficient dialogue between citizens and local self-government units, in accordance with European Union standards.
The National Association of Municipalities of Albania remains committed to supporting any initiative that strengthens local democracy through citizen participation in decision-making processes, increases the capacities of municipalities and accelerates integration processes, where local governance and the active involvement of the local community play a key role.
